Position Description
We are looking for a Marketing, Events & Sales Intern in our East Lansing, MI corporate headquarters. This role will support GreenStone's outreach efforts and tradeshow events and work on a customer prospecting project supporting our sales team. The internship will start December 2022 and run through August 25th, 2023. Some travel may be required.
Position Responsibilities...
Assist in managing and updating resources including events calendar, presentations and slide decks, market plans.
Participate in market planning and research.
Assist with creating digital communication campaigns onsite and virtual events in multiple markets; support increased market engagement.
Support individual outreach events by reviewing a pre-event checklist and flagging outstanding items.
Research outreach opportunities and assist committee in evaluation and activation.
Collect agenda items for and participate in team meetings.
Support relationship development tasks with event participants by following up with service providers, panelists, and attendees of events.
Participate in market planning and research
Assist sales team with prospect identification, evaluation, and prioritization.
Provide support to sales and marketing teams with the strategy for awareness and engagement building in identified markets.
Primary Requirements...
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Agribusiness, or related field.
Sophomore Status or above.
3.00 GPA is required.
Interest or experience working in the agricultural sector.
